I feel like I haven't written in some time, and while there isn't a good reason, things just happen.
The first major event was Josh's first day of kindergarten! I cannot believe he is old enough to be going! It's a long day for the kiddos, a full day of school. I think the things that Josh likes best is recess and lunch. He gets a kick out of buying his lunch. The kids have a number they use to "pay" for their lunch so they do not lose their money. While this is all well and good, it does not reinforce the concept of money, nor does it prohibit them from buying "extras". Josh's lunches seem to grow in expense each week!
Maddie starts a one-day a week preschool this upcoming week. I have decided to out her in the daycare they have at the school on the same day, giving me one entire day each week without kids. Seems silly, but now I can schedule doctors appointments go grocery shopping, and other general errands without the kids. She has gone twice so far, and she loves it. I thought she would have a problem being away from mom, but she doesn't!
As for Ben and I, things are pretty much the same. I have a stress fracture in my foot, and after one bad doctor's month-long treatment, I have switched doctor's and gotten better care. Ultimately this means I will be in a boot for almost 2 months!
